In an operation in the Flores neighborhood of Buenos Aires, Mayor Jorge Macri was present to evict street vendors and verify reports of illegal work and human trafficking in textile workshops. During a press conference, Macri emphasized the importance of protecting those who operate within the law and ensuring the circulation of local residents. Accompanied by Security Minister Waldo Wolff, he reported that the police deployment began at dawn after consolidating several cases.

"Merchandise was seized whose origin must be verified to gradually restore normalcy to the area," Macri emphasized, adding that no arrests were made during the intervention. Wolff, for his part, highlighted that a similar investigation was carried out in the Once neighborhood months ago, with the goal of returning public space to citizens.

Addressing the impact of the operation in the area after its completion, Wolff indicated that the Police will remain in Flores just as in Once to maintain the recovery of public space. "There were 30 blocks taken over in the area," he concluded, stressing the magnitude of the intervention and the importance of working together to maintain order and legality in the city.
